You keep ownership. You give us permission to use the letter.
By submitting, you grant Unsent Letters Wall and its affiliates a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, cache, reproduce, publish, display, perform, distribute, transmit, modify, adapt, format, translate, promote, and create derivative works from your submission in any media now known or later developed.
This allows us to publish the letter on the site, create shareable images, excerpts, collections, social posts, promotional materials, archives, and future versions of the service without paying royalties.
You also confirm that you have the rights needed to submit the content; it does not unlawfully reveal private information, infringe rights, defame, threaten, harass, or violate law; and you accept responsibility for claims caused by your submission.
We may approve, reject, edit for formatting or safety, restrict, remove, preserve, or disclose content when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect people, the service, or our rights. Publication is not guaranteed.
