To You
Your ego, Your blindness
What you don't realize is that I endured your mistakes, too, including things you never even knew hurt me. The difference is, I chose to let things go instead of keeping score and using everything I did for you as ammunition whenever you made a mistake.
But when I'm the one who falls short, you act as though you've endured a lifetime of suffering because of me, as if every good thing you've done gives you the right to hold it over my head.
You're not the only one who endured, and you're not the only one who got hurt. I simply chose not to use my sacrifices against you. So stop acting like you were the only one who had to be patient, when you've never even acknowledged what I silently put up with from you.
